The book signing constituted a lively, successful and positive launch of the Connecting with China book and mission. I say 'mission', because this book aims to be part of a methodology and a movement to help us understand, befriend and create positive and enduring success with China.
The book signing drew people from all walks of life who were attracted by the fact that the book is written in such an accessible, personal style; that it looks at the emotions and ancient wisdom of the Chinese; as well as the fact that it charts my, and others’, experiences of building success with China.
The illustrations and examples may be from business, this, however, is an Everyman book. China’s impact will be felt more and more on our own lives and those of our children. If we are engaging successfully, respectfully, with mutual benefit and understanding, this impact will be positive and exciting. If not... who wants a superpower you do not understand or relate to? Few of us, I imagine.
With the help of this book, we need never countenance this scenario.
I will be sharing positive information, insights and skills on China. If you would like to be part of this positive movement for connection with China, why not support the book and share your experiences. I will keep you updated on the profile of the book and its message, including its formal launch in the presence of major business and financial leaders on April 22nd at the IPA.
I will also keep you informed of the global response to the book as it launches in successive markets over the next weeks, including the US and Asia.
Join me on a China journey that will change our world and create a positive destiny with this superpower for us and our children.
